Mykonos (Part 3) between Sea, Luxury and Flavors: My Secret Guide

There are places that remain in the heart and become indelible memories. Mykonos is one of these: a magnetic, vibrant and sensual island, capable of making you fall in love at first sight.

This year, with the desire to break away from the routine and live a dream experience, I decided to give her a part of me — and she, in return, gave me fiery sunsets, luxurious cuddles and moments of absolute freedom.

🌊 The Sea Addosso: the first days

I arrived on May 14th and decided to immediately immerse myself in the slow rhythm of the island. For the first two days I stayed in a small beach hotel, perfect for experiencing the sea in its purest form. Bare feet in the sand, salty skin, hair disheveled by the warm Aegean wind.

They were days of slowness, of waking up without an alarm clock and of lunches with a sea view based on Greek salads and very fresh fish. A small preview of the sweetness that would accompany me throughout the holiday.

🛏️ From 16 to 21: Heaven is called Black and White

On May 16th , the most magical part of my stay began: I arrived at Bianco a Nero Mykonos . A true corner of paradise, designed for those who love discreet luxury and seek an authentic experience, made of attention, peace and beauty.

I chose a room with a private Jacuzzi : a dream suite where white reigns supreme, natural materials caress the gaze and every detail is elegantly cared for. The evenings spent in my Jacuzzi, with a glass of wine and the golden light of the sunset to keep me company, were moments of pure enchantment.

If there is one place that embodies the glamour of Mykonos, it is the legendary Nammos . I could not miss the opportunity to spend a day (and an evening) in this iconic beach club, one of the most exclusive in the world.

During the day I enjoyed its beautiful private beach : crystal clear sea, golden sand, elegant sunbeds and impeccable service. Nammos is not just a beach club, it is an experience: the kind of place where time stops, and you enjoy every second with a smile on your lips and salt on your skin.

In the evening, the restaurant lights up with a thousand soft lights and the atmosphere becomes even more magical. I dined with a sea view, savoring refined dishes in a dreamlike setting. It's not cheap , that's true — but certain experiences are priceless.

🛍️ Elite Shopping: Nammos Village

Right next to the beach club is Nammos Village , a small oasis of luxury among high fashion boutiques and sophisticated concept stores. If you love exclusive shopping, here you will find all the big international brands: perfect for treating yourself (or being treated) to something special.

Even just walking through the shop windows is an experience: typical Cycladic architecture meets contemporary design in a combination of style and refinement.

🧿 Authentic Mykonos: Flavors and Traditions

But Mykonos is not just unbridled luxury: it is also authenticity, tradition, simplicity. Among the many discoveries of the island, one stole my heart: the LOCAL .

A small restaurant with an easy atmosphere where I ate the best gyros on the island — accompanied by a fried cheese that I still dream about at night. And the best part is that the prices are more than fair, proving that in Mykonos you can treat yourself to good food without spending a fortune.

This mix of experiences, from the exclusivity of Nammos to the authentic flavors of LOCAL, is what makes Mykonos unique: it knows how to speak to all travelers, it knows how to be glamorous and simple, refined and welcoming.

🚗 Getting Around: Freedom on Four Wheels

If you want to really experience the island, my advice is to rent a car directly at the airport. We chose Sixt , and the freedom of being able to explore every corner of Mykonos without constraints was priceless.

By car we easily reached the most beautiful beaches, such as Psarou , Paraga and Agios Sostis , but also small villages and breathtaking views away from the tourist routes.
